Connie Leanza is an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of experience in Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine. A native of Tullahoma, Tennessee, Connie is known for her clinical expertise, compassionate care, and dedication to improving the health and well-being of her patients.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Registered Nurse (RN) degree from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, followed by Acute Care Nurse Practitioner training in Adult Critical Care at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis.
Since joining Smyrna Pulmonary & Sleep Associates in 2018, Connie has been a valued member of the team, providing expert care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Her clinical interests include the management of obstructive lung disease, asthma, and interstitial lung disease, where she combines evidence-based medicine with a personalized, patient-centered approach.
Connie is deeply respected by colleagues and patients alike for her professionalism, empathy, and commitment to delivering the highest standard of care.
Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and especially cherishes every moment with her three grandchildren.
