Smyrna pulmonary and sleep associates welcome you for pulmonary consultation clinic. You may be referred by your primary care provider for further evaluation and management of various lung disorders.

Various common reason for presentation to chest clinic includes cough, dyspnea, asthma, emphysema, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asbestosis, lung cancer, sarcoidosis, pulmonary fibrosis and pleurisy.

Further evaluation of lung disorder may require further diagnostic and radiological evaluation. Diagnostic evaluation done at chest clinic includes breathing test- Pulmonary function test, oxygen evaluation with walk, exercise brething test, methacholline challenge test. Imaging includes chest x rays, chest CT scan, PET scan.

Procedure done by our physician include bronchoscopy for lung biopsy, thoracentesis (removal of fluid around the lung), chest tube placement. Please refer to procedure description section of website to get more details on each individual procedure.

We provide details testing, evaluation and recommend management plan. We will also notify your primary care or family doctors regarding recommendations.
