Smyrna Pulmonary and Sleep Associates offers Lung mass clinic. We evaluate patients with abnormal chest x rays or CT Scan of lungs showing lung spot or mass. Thorough evaluation includes clinical history, examination and various imaging. Imaging includes routine chest x rays, CT Scan of lung or other parts of body, PET scan. Evaluation includes breathing test to assess lung capacity prior to lung biopsy or surgery.

Treatment options varies for individual patients. Treatment may include proper follow up, lung biopsies, or surgical evaluation.

We evaluate patient and recommend proper treatment plan. We provide comprehensive multidisciplinary approach to diagnosis and treat actual or suspected lung malignancies. We also participate in tumor conferences at local hospital, along with medical oncologist, radiation oncologist, cardiothoracic surgeon and formulate better treatment plan.
